I used this as one of the descriptions/ endings of one of the outcomes of if you had taken this particular subway.
Used other's peoples opinions about how things should look. Mainly input from my boyfriend about things he likes, doesn't, things that we've experienced togehter.
I looked at a bunch of other itch.io projects/ bitsy projects. I also looked into various videos to try to help and figure how to particularly do access to a room only if I had this certain item. I also used the Empire State website for a definition of the type of experience you could get ther. Everything will be linked below. Empire State Description Reference Picture for Empire State Itch.io Projects 1 Game References More game references How to access room with keys Website to be able to pixelate any image
I used n +7 and n+14 to create descriptions for the entrance to the different "subways" within the arrangement of various stairs to the subway
I used this to create the little blurb about my Turnip monster and how he can be defeated bit that is featured when you walk into the Turnip monster room.
I started off the sentence with Empire State Buiding and then I randomly clicked within the predictive writer to make a description for one of the inner subway routes.
I used this to create the various "signs" of where the subway was going to. They're all anagrams of "The Empire State Building"
I have learned a lot in this class. Besides the obvious which is to code in html and css. I learned other ways of sparking creativity from the oblique strategies to the predictive writer. I now know all these new tools to help me with creativity and sort of shift my mindset to think broader of even smaller. I think overall this class has taught me about the rigorousness of creating games and establishing what they need and how the user will interact, I think this can be siad about everything we've learned in this class. There has been an underlying consideration for how people will experience what I am creating and I think that this will be very useful for the future especially if I am considering UI/UX Design.
